The Board of Directors of The Foundation Schools regretfully announces the resignation of Dr. Gale Naquin as its CEO. Over the past seven plus months, Dr. Naquin has worked with great effort on a variety of initiatives to further enhance services to students and improve the quality of our staff. She has continued to strive forward on an ambitious effort while concurrently addressing serious family matters.
The Board of Directors has asked Chief Academic Officer Gina James, M.A. to become interim CEO. This will continue for the remainder of the school year. During the interim period, with input from our administration, staff and community of stakeholders, the Board will decide upon the permanent leadership structure and process so as to allow for its implementation in time for the next school year.
As we move through our 40th year of operations, The Foundation Schools’ core values of Teamwork, Work Ethic, Integrity, Respect and Leadership remain at the forefront of our efforts and integrative approach. These will sustain us as we continue to transition. Above all else, staff, administration and the Board will, in conjunction with our public education partnering jurisdictions, continue to focus on improving outcomes for all students. On behalf of the Board, we thank all those involved in this great work and urge your continued commitment.
