On May 2, 2016 Maryland’s First Lady Yumi Hogan hosted the First Lady’s Mental Health Awareness Youth Art Display in Annapolis. This event featured talented student artwork with themes highlighting the importance of mental health awareness. The Foundation School’s student, Yasmeine Ford, was recognized by the First Lady for her award-winning artwork for the Children’s Mental Health Matters! campaign and we are so proud of her talents and dedication!
Ford also submitted an additional piece for the showcase.
In support of Ford’s accomplishments, several staff members were in attendance.
