Instructional
Program
The goal of the instructional program
is to provide academic opportunities,
which meet Individualized
Education Program (IEP) requirements and that will
result in a successful school experience for each
student.
The Foundation
Schools' curriculum offers courses appropriate
for
elementary through senior high school and
allows students to meet the requirements
of their
home school district. All classes are small
in size with a low student to staff ratio.
The components of the instructional program include:
- Diagnostic and
prescriptive evaluations
- Individualized
Education Programs
- Elementary and
secondary school curricula
Related services,
which include medication consultation,
speech and language therapy, as well
as individual and group therapy.
- Special activities
program
- Coordination
with the local education agencies regarding
consistency in school programming, disposition
planning, and placement recommendations.
